Last year I had to abandon my Camino just before Leon on September 18 due to family illness. I am now thinking of restarting in Leon on September 18. Is anyone else planning on leaving Leon around that date? Any advice from anyone else who has restarted or started midway along a route as to how to re-immerse into the Camino spirit and family?

My opinion is that it was just ment to be, the hard part of loosing your walking family as I did ( they had to go home they had less time open) was I then met up with new people. The same I am sure for you it will simply work out. It is remarkable how close you get isn't it...

I think it will be fine as we noticed that a lot of new pilgrims started in Leon so you will easily meet people who have just started like yourself. Buen Camino!!
