Thank you for this story, Peter. Rua Nova is my favorite Santiago street - especially since I first visited the Vetusta Bookshop 6 years ago. It’s been closed the last few times I’ve visited and I’m happy I can visit and say hello to Quini one last time before the shop closes permanently.

The tortilla at Bar Tita is one of the two best on the Camino! The other is O Ceadoiro in O Pino/A Brea. There is a wait to get a table at Bar Tita at almost all times. It is most curious, and not a pilgrim phenomenon.

Past it an hour ago it was packed in and out side .
Its a nice place to go to and great food and drinks .
