Hi there,
Does anyone know if the train station in Salamanca has lockers to leave backpacks while in town? TIA

Welcome camino0515-lt.
I could find on TripAdvisor that the trainstation does not have lockers, but the busstation has them.
What was mentioned on the same site was that you could ask a hotel to keep your luggage for a fee.

Hi,

there should be lockers, as the website of the stations states that there are "consignas"
estacion-de-tren-renfe-salamanca

On the map you can see, that there is a big supermarket (Carrefour express) and a sports centre in the train Station. These should also have lockers. At least all big spanish supermarkets which I have visited so far had lockers because the do not want their clients to enter with big bags or backpacks.

I checked the Nannybag link a bit further and it showed up that there is no Nannybag in Salamanca
Sorry for the wrong info.
The search engine gave that info, but I didn't click the search button.

camino0515-lt..........The bus station in Salamanca does have lockers if this info is any use to you ......walk through the concourse and down the stairs to the bus parking places , turn right and the lockers are in a room to your right , They have 2 sizes and the larger ones ( 3 euros from memory ) are ample for a back pack .

Hi, it's late but there is a locker in the center of Salamanca. www.salamancalockers.es, perhaps Next time

It's a bit of a trek from the Plaza Mayor to the train station so it may be more convenient to store it closer to where you'll be. The station is not that central.
