IMO, this is a "not to be missed" detour from Zamora. I got a ride out there with the Portuguese hospitalero early one morning, and then walked back the 24 kms, trying to follow the Braganca variant backwards (with some success). I think it's another one of those churches dismantled stone by stone and transported to higher ground. The carvings inside are exquisite, and the arches give a sense of something really sublime. It is an absolutely awesome place. So great to learn of these conservation efforts, thanks Castilian.
