I have heard that this albergue is closed. Can anyone confirm this for me?

It looks as though the albergue is still open but the private rooms are closed permanently.
This link gives information and a phone number so you could check, os ask someone to check for you if your Spanish is not up to making phone calls. Places cannot be booked but at least you would know if it is still open.

Hi Dawn,

I stayed in this albergue quite recently. Its a nice place to stay, 5 euros and you will get a guided tour of the monastery. There is a bar nearby which does meals also.
I would stay there again.

I stayed there 3 weeks ago, got the key in bar across the road, I was only pilgrim on night. I paid my €5 in office. Food great in bar restaurant .
