Time of past OR future Camino

I'm walking the Camino at the end of May 2016, my flight lands in Santiago at 16:20 and i am traveling to Sarria. Was wondering if there is a bus from the airport to Sarria.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

There was a previous thread on this journey from some time back. Here is a link but you will obviously need to double check via the website links contained within it that the bus times quoted are still valid and tie in with your arrival date and time.

Buen Camino!

I'm still trying to figure out how to use this site. Thanks Miguel_gp, will try look it up. I have been looking up bus timetables with not much luck.

Hi Ros, There are buses from SdC to Sarria, several daily in fact. Takes a little over three hours(!!!) and involves a change. Should you be after a long flight, not sure that hopping straight onto a bus, a wait in a strange bus station for the connection, arrival in Sarria at 2200 and then a search for lodging is the best plan. Depends on your timetable of course. There are also trains also involving a connection not much better time wise.

You can also contact Caminofacil and they will taxi you to Sarria for €95, which you can split with other pilgrims if you can find others to share.

Hi Ros, as already stated you will be in Sarria late at night. Why not stay in Santiago for the night and go early the day after to Sarria.
Wish you well and a Buen Camino, Peter

To get from the airport to the downtown: www.empresafreire.com has buses that run every 30 minutes. Check their web for schedules.
