Santiago - Leon - Santiago

Hi, just looking for some advice/opinions. My husband and I are flying into Santiago de Compostela on 10 September to finish our camino from Leon. We arrive at Santiago at 3pm so are staying there overnight. Unfortunately we didn't realise it's 5 hours on the train from santiago to leon and we arrive at 3.30pm. We're wondering if we should stay overnight again in leon or if it would be worth our while to walk to Virgen del Camino to get a start?

I suggest walking to La Virgen. It is a great albergue.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
