Hello everyone,

I'm trying to book a train from Santiago to Madrid on May 20th so I can catch my flight from Mardrid to Paris where I will catch my flight back to Canada. The Rail Europe site still says I can't book this train trip yet?? Is there a regional rail website I should be checking??

Thanks

Len

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Okay so it's Renfe I should be watching!! Thanks

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Often you cannot book more than 2 months in advance. I would not worry about it, just try again on or after the 20th.

I was just hoping to book it before I depart for Spain on April 5th.

May have to get my wife to do it for me!!

Hi, Len, If you're walking the Francés, you will be able to buy your own ticket at any RENFE station in Spain. If you're flying into Madrid, there is a RENFE office right in T4 (the new fancy terminal), and you will have no problems getting a ticket a month or so in advance. Buen camino, Laurie

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I used the Renfe site to buy sticker from Barcelona to Sarria. The cost on Renfe was 115 euros. On RailEurope it would have cost 235 euros. The Renfe site is difficult but Google translate helped. I couldn't getting credit card to authorize so usedPaypaland it wired beautifully.
I start my Cono on May 2 from Sarria. It is not what I had dreamed about but I a just as excited as I was starting from SJPP.

It's quite easy to just purchase a train ticket at RENFE shop next to Pilgrims Office in Santiago once you have received your Compostela.

Buen Camino

P.S. be aware Pilgrims office will be moving this year?
