Greetings all!
Could someone please advise the best place to purchase a sim card? I will be starting in St.Jean this weekend after arriving in Paris from Australia. I plan to take the lower route to Valcarlos and stay overnight before heading onto Roncesvalles the next day.

I also wanted to say 'Thank You' to this community as I've been reading for months and have used so much of the information in my preparations. Such a wealth of information and also encouragement to inspire me to do this walk for the first time. Feeling both excited and a little nervous now as there's only 48 hours before I leave. Just me, my ticket and my backpack I'm hoping to use the wifi along the way to check in with this site for updated information.
Many thanks to you all, Beverley

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
As @mspath says....Pamplona is likely to be the first chance to buy a Spanish SIM.

But if you don't want to be without a SIM till then, I'm sure you could pick up a cheap 'Europe' SIM at the Airport in Paris or if you are heading South by train, at the train station in Paris.

Many if not most carriers these days offer Europe wide SIMS. Just check the countries that it covers. Spain and France would be covered by most.

Then when in Pamplona you can pick up a Spanish one. Makes more sense as you'll be making and receiving 'local' calls.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Thank you everyone - most helpful!
