This morning, around 06.25, a small Cesna plane went down just by the Santiago airport. It looks like it was very close to where the Camino Francés passes by the airport. No pilgrims was walking there at the time. The two persons in the plane died (two pilots).

More in La Voz de Galicia today.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
That is terrible.
I have lost friends in small plane accidents. It is difficult to deal with.
Happening near a place of hope and joy makes it a tragedy that affects us all in some way.
My thoughts are with their family and friends.
