We've booked our accommodations through an agency and they are providing a transfer from the Santiago airport to O Cerbreiro.

I hope that you will be going to Santiago by way of Samos -- Definitely! Take the time to tour the monastery, if you can. Well worth whatever the ticket costs this year. It's a few kilometres further via Samos, but I can't recall anything worth seeing on the San Xil route. The view of the monastery from the hill above is one of the best, if not the best, on the camino.

Yes, Samos is on our list, it will be out third day and hopefully we will be up for the longer route to Sarria.
