Hi ,

Bill and Ita from Ireland here. We are starting from St Jean on May 15th , hoping to go all the way to Santiago. This will be our second camino, although the first one was split over a number of trips to Spain , arrived in Santiago May 2016.

Hi, Bill and Ita, and a big warm welcome to the Forum. :)

The good news is, you are in a forum with a wonderful group of people. The bad news is . . well . . you're not on Camino yet :) There really is no downside to this forum, and I think you'll enjoy being a part of it.

I'm planning on starting the same day. Travelling from Ireland on the 14th. Hope to see you along the way.

Buen camino, you guys. If you can catch it, try to watch the Camino Voyage on TG4 tonight. Not the same as walking the CF, but a beautiful and poignant film.

Katie, Buen camino to you also. See what I wrote to Billandita re the film. Also, on Wednesday coming, in Cotswold Dublin, the Camino Society are having an information session about 6pm, I think. And then on Sunday May 5th there will be a walk from Bray to St James church, followed by a fiesta. I am an out of date member of the Society, in case you think I am in this for the money!
