Time of past OR future Camino
January-February 2016: Burgos to Santiago de Compastella
I will be starting my Camino in Burgos on 25 January 2016. I am looking forward to the experience. Yes it will be cold and probably wet but weather is weather and my window of opportunity is here so I will just take it as it comes.

Maybe some of us will see each other out there on the Walk.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Wish you all the best on your journey and a Buen Camino, Peter.

Thank you Peter
I see you are a Dutchman. I am too (by birth) and will actually be in the Netherlands prior to my departure on the Camino. I'll be spending some time visiting family then traveling Poland before returning to Holland again. I am flying home after my Camino from Schiphol. I always find it a small world when I see other Dutchies out there

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
LookingFor42, I will be back home by the time you plan to start. I will finish my un-finished bit of last month ..... Portamarin to Santiago.... spend Christmas in Santiago and then... do a "quick" English Way... seeing I have to be back in the UK on 31 December. Buen Camino. You'll have lots of fun

That's a great attitude to begin your journey with. I'll be picking the Camino back up in Burgos in September 2016. Wish you the very best and buen camino!

Plan well! The cold may be the least of your problems since many albergues, restaurants, and shops will be in hibernation, shut tight. Many albergues have internet sites so email them to make sure now for no surprises later.

I'm sure there's always a hotel, B&B, pension, guesthouse or Couch Surfing host.
