My wife and I finished our first Camino Frances last summer. I hated for it to end. It took me almost 3 weeks to adjust and knew I needed to do this at least one more time. My wife said she was glad we accomplished it together but for her, never again. But that decision changed over the next few months after she thought about our many experiences together and the welcoming people we met along the way.
We leave May 13 from St. Jean for our second Camino, about 3 weeks earlier than our start last year. Like last year, we hope to post daily to our blog. I'm sure our experiences (we are in our mid-60's) will be different than many others and some the same.
