Portugues - Tui to Santiago (2014, I think)
French - St Jean to Santiago to Finester (2018)
Hi!

I'm Biff. My wife and I are off on Saturday for our first Camino - Tui to Santiago.
We're doing it the 'easy' way I'm afraid - Hotel to Hotel, but we'll carrying our gear (need to suffer a little :D ), and taking a week to do it.

Why this way? Well, I'm planning on doing the French Way in a couple of years time (and doing it the 'hard' way), after I retire, and would like to see what a Camino is like, and whether or not we can cope with the walking (and the weather).

I'll say "How do" if I see you,
Biff

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hello Biff! I hope you and your wife enjoy your camino. I think "easy" and "hard" are relative terms. It's your camino, so you don't need to explain yourself to anyone. I should warn you; once you've walked the camino, you'll be hooked for life.

Wishing you a buen camino!

Hi, it's your Camino and you will enjoy it. And when you begin your Camino Frances, yes there will be hard day's, there will be rain, sun etc. and yes you will cope with it. I wish you for now and the futere a Buen Camino, Peter.

Thank you all for the welcome.
I keep telling Mrs Biff that we'll enjoy it - it'll be fun! She keeps giving me a funny look ....
I'm amazed at how little stuff I'm taking - I take more stuff when I go up a mountain for a day!
