09/2015: Via de la Plata
Here goes. Haven't used the c a calendar until now. Arriving Seville on September 14, taking a bus to Castiblanco on the 16th and heading out to Almaden de la Plata on the 17th.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I've been on the forum for a while now but just figured out the calendar. It's 106 days until I hit the trail but I feel I have already started my camino. Now that I've got all my gear, I'm freed up to think about the mental and spiritual aspects of this undertaking. (Might have something to do with Maslow's hierarchy of needs.) Uppermost on my mind right now is whether I'll be tough enough, persistent enough. It's like I've made a promise to myself to do this camino and I don't want to let myself down. Does that sound crazy? Also thinking about how much time I'll spend with my own thoughts without the daily routines I scurry around doing most of the time. How exhilarating/scarey/?? will that be!

Hi ricitosdeplata! Good on you. I’ve walked the VdlP twice (second time because the first was so awesome). The camino will be all that you can handle - no more nor less (I believe, anyway). Feel free to PM me if you have any questions you want to ask outside of the forum.
I’m no expert but I understand how you must be feeling right now.
Buen camino, Grace

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to see you could see my entry in the calendar because I can only see it if I click on submit above the calendar.

Wow! You did the VDLP twice. I'm already thinking about a second camino. Once you have all the gear and have the experience of it I imagine it would be easier to at least get you on the starting line.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
