Hi All,
I'm posting this separetely from 'Class of 2011' so that it will be picked up more easily.

When working as hospitalero at Rabanal at end of October we were discussing numbers for 2011 and several thought the numbers in 2011 may be higher than normal since many pilgrims stayed at home because of the Holy Year. In addition, one pilgrim reported that during the summer of 2011 there will be an International Youth Congress in Spain and maybe many young people will take the opportunity of doing the pilgrimage.

Thanks for the information. Like many others longing to do the Camino again I did not go last year but will go this year I'm getting older and who knows what my health might be in2012

Perhaps numbers will be higher due to increased awareness of Camino?
Overnighting in Cee in July 2009 the consensus was to avoid summer 2010 on Francés.
Personally I headed off Easter 2010.
