Sunburnt lips

Time of past OR future Camino
Twice walked from St Jean to Estella and once from Sarria to Santiago. Maybe someday I'll find the time to do the entire walk.
I've found the time. Just completed SJPP to Santiago. 25 Aug to 1st Oct, 2016.
And now the Portuguese from Lisbon.
I'm in Leon now and hoping to make it to Hospital de Orbigo tomorrow. Since I last walked the Camino I've shaved my beard and am having a problem with a sunburnt lower lip.
What do I need to ask the chemist for? I'm guessing the sunblock i put on my hands and face isn't suitable.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
You need a sunblock stick. Vichy is a brand widely sold in Spanish pharmacies, although a bit pricey. They do a Factor 50 stick.
Second that. It's what I had to buy once in Spain. Just be careful when you apply it or you will end up with a whole area around your mouth much whiter than the rest of your face which will be tanning.

Ask for a "labial que protege del sol".

This is what the Vichy one looks like.

Do not overlook dehydration as the source of sore chapped lips. Pound the water. My experience.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Whatever is causing it, it's not kissing. My kissing days are now a distant memory.
