How lovely. Because we all like to swim in public pools with bits of toe-jam flotsam in the water. This thread is about watersports on the camino.
I am a lap swimmer so i will comment on this as I go along.
Saint Jean - has an olympic swimming pool, municipal, with funny staff who sit inside it all day and let the public in at odd times. There is an old man and a smoking hot young french girl who man the front counter, they let nobody in and get paid. I want the old french dudes job.
Pamplona, great aquatic center, great staff, great opening times. Very professional, very impressed. Must visit for all lap swimmers.
Estrella 25 meter outdoor, super clean. Swing by the euroski supermarket for food on the way back to the municipal.
Logrono did not get to the pool had farewell drinks for pilgrims instead.
Burgos has a great indoor pool 25meter. The pool is heated and has an additional hydrotherapy spa attached. Great for cleaning the toenails with the waterjets.
Price 4euro comed with free locker hair dryer etc. This is as far as i have gone.
Pleade add in any pools spas comments questions etc that i have missed.

Thanks for this information Oztrekker....I am very sure that there will be quite a bit of interest in the info you've provided. I know that on my own Face-book group, Australian Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago... that there have been people who have asked about facilities such as swimming pools etc. Kind regards...

It was pouring with rain when I stayed in Acebo and there was a river running down the main street. I didn't need a pool to do a 'lap'!!!!Missed the piscina in astorga, drinking la choufe and duvel.

What a beautiful view from the pool. Oztrekker, where is it located in El Acebo?
Thankyou for sharing all these swimming pools and spots with us OzTrekker.....I have shared a lot of your posts to my Australian Pilgrims on the Camino Facebook group. The swimmers amongst our members have been very interested. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your Camino....Cheers.This is my last post.
Santiago pool is a 25m. Well maintained with ropes and a fast lane for lap swimmers.
I missed many pools along the way. So hopefully you the members can add your photos and reviews of the piscinas/pools that i never visited.
Hopefully Luka will add her review of porto marin which looked amazing as I walked in.
Kind regard
Happy Swimming to all on the camino.
