Time of past OR future Camino
2019
We are starting our first Camino on May 2nd. I trying to weigh up the pro's and con's of arriving then taking bus into Santiago then another to Ferol. With possible wait. Getting to the hotel late and starting walking the next morning.
Has anyone taken a taxi direct from the airport to Ferol and if so was it expensive? Any advise appreciated.

Hi Stamper, you could try this link below for a quote for a taxi from airport to Ferol, we have found them really useful.

Hi Stamper,
Three of us have completed this Camino just last week. We flew into SdC arriving early evening too late for the last bus to Ferrol so decided to book a taxi for €120 in advance. This taxi never materialised, so with the very helpful assistance of the kind lady in the airport Tourist Information Office we got another cab for €150. The journey took about an hour. We checked in to our hotel "Silva" and got a cab to the Camino start point at the water front about 8pm. We got our first Sello and beer at the Cafe adjacent to the old archway where the Camino begins. Cafe "La Gruta".
We were surprised to be served with delicious lentil soup with bread and some cakes all free, their cheerful hospitality was a nice start to our Camino journey. We then walked the first three kilometres of the Camino route through the town to a point where we could re-join it in the morning from our hotel.
Buen Camino Stamper !

Just for current info I booked a taxi from SdC Airport going to the starting point of the Ingles today with Suntransfers at a cost of 118 Euros. There's x4 of us going and we want to knock off 10k on the first day due to time restrictions so it was an easy decision in the end...
