Merry Christmas. On the Monbus websitewhen we ask for Santiago to Ferrol. When we click on 'see' it shows two stops .one at Pontedeume and one at Fene. Do we change at these places or the bus direct? Thankyou

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I bussed from SdeC Intermodal to Ferrol using Monbus in late May 2022. Paid 8 Euros. Bought my ticket at the station. The trip was quick and very comfortable, and I can recommend it w/o reservation. No changes were necessary!

I did find the Ferrol bus station looking a bit run-down and unattractive, but it was close to the edge of the 'old town' and not all that far from my booked accommodations.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I also took the direct bus from Santiago to Ferrol and it was comfortable and fast. The two stops are very short - just enough time for folks to get off and on. To get an early indication of bus times you can look on the Monbus website for the day of the week you intend travelling on. For precise times and online booking you will need to look at the website nearer the time.

If you are arriving at the airport that day and need a quick transfer from the airport to the Estación Intermodal, taxis appeared to operate a flat rate fare of 21€.

Hope this helps.

We took this bus a few years ago, sat on the front seats. Great journey with one slightly disconcerting point. The bus goes through the toll gate without slowing down and the barrier lifts automatically. It looked as though we would run into the barrier but it does lift in time :) OK when you know.....
There was a good cafe at the bus station in Ferrol when we were there.
Buen Camino

Hi, finally plans for Camino Ingles become real, some accomodations, booked already, checking flights, etc..., starting 02june :) We are taking it slow, 8 days on the road, below are our stages...
We lost a set of black Leki trekking poles today between Ferrol and Neda just past the Monastario de San Martino. We sat down for a rest near the top of the hill amidst the houses. The poles were...
