Hello all! My name is Theresa Okamoto. I am from Huntington Beach, CA. I will arrive in Madrid 9:20 am 5/25/24 so will need to take train to Pamplona I am thinking the 2:00 train. I am hoping there is an earlier train, but I couldn't find one. Anyways, I will arrive in Pamplona around 6:30 PM. So I either spend the night in Pamplona or see if I can share a taxi with someone. Hoping to share a taxi with someone that is arriving late afternoon. My What's app number is (Ivar: edited out personal contact info, please contact via Private Message here on the forum) Thanks. Theresa

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
If you don’t get a reply on here (it does happen, but it’s unusual) you still have options.

There’s a good chance that there will be others on the same train doing what you’re doing. Pass the time and walk through the train. The rucksack is the giveaway

It’s a near certainty that those with rucksacks in the taxi queue at Pamplona station are doing what you’re doing. Ask them!

As henrythedog said, you’ll find fellow pilgrims on the train. They may become your first Camino buddies. 😊 If you need to stay in Pamplona one night you can also catch the bus to St Jean the next day.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Yes I hope so. When I walked in 2022 there weren’t any peregrinos on the train sadly. Hopefully this time around is different.
