RIP 2019
Time of past OR future Camino
One every year since 2007
It looks as if this year's September is going to be like in 2011: often unbearably hot.
Aemet daytime temperature forecasts (Centigrades) for this coming week are:
Pamplona between 28 and 32 degrees
Burgos between 24 and 28 degrees
Leon between 24 and 28 degrees
Santiago between 25 and 27 degrees

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I was having the rain poncho discussion with myself, will I, won't I? - So very happy to hear it will be sunny and fine - hope it keeps fine for weeks 2 & 3!

Don't be mistaken :!: Galicia can be quite wet at times, so a poncho should be part of your equipment. Last year (2011) we walked from Roncesvalles (early September) to Santiago (middle of October) without a single drop of rain. On previous walks during a similar period we weren't so lucky

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Fraluchi, I live in Ireland, and we have had the wettest summer for years Hence my joy at the prospect of a chance to dry out my bones! I will be walking Burgos - Leon, so would be interested to hear how travelling on the Meseta went for you.
