Temperatures forecast - first week of September 2012

It looks as if this year's September is going to be like in 2011: often unbearably hot.
Aemet daytime temperature forecasts (Centigrades) for this coming week are:
Pamplona between 28 and 32 degrees
Burgos between 24 and 28 degrees
Leon between 24 and 28 degrees
Santiago between 25 and 27 degrees

I was having the rain poncho discussion with myself, will I, won't I? - So very happy to hear it will be sunny and fine - hope it keeps fine for weeks 2 & 3!

Don't be mistaken :!: Galicia can be quite wet at times, so a poncho should be part of your equipment. Last year (2011) we walked from Roncesvalles (early September) to Santiago (middle of October) without a single drop of rain. On previous walks during a similar period we weren't so lucky :mrgreen:

Fraluchi, I live in Ireland, and we have had the wettest summer for years :( Hence my joy at the prospect of a chance to dry out my bones! I will be walking Burgos - Leon, so would be interested to hear how travelling on the Meseta went for you.
 
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
