Tent outdoors.

Hello!

Tell me, please, how acceptable is to spend the night in a tent in the middle of a forest, a beach or a meadow? Without making a fire, but just to sleep. How severe are local laws and people to such pilgrims? Private property or something like that.
This is my first pilgrimage, but I really do not want to depend on the completeness of the albergues and have nothing against sleeping outdoors.

P.S. How frequent are rains and how strong are they at the end of May and throughout June?

Spanish law generally prohibits wild camping. Whether you get caught is another matter. May and June are not very rainy. Albergues are likely to charge you to shower. I have seen the police roust a camper in Portomarin.

Everywhere I have been in Spain (and elsewhere) it has been very easy to find a spot to camp. Locals are usually very helpful/happy. Just make sure you leave no mess and spend your money in local shops /bars... Not international ones!
We are on the V de P and have camped every other night, 5 of us - welcomed all the way.. and even given a bagful of broad beans by the farmers!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
