I stumbled upon this interesting new "apparatus":
A knee shock absorber meant to help those with maniscal issues, instead of complete knee replacements.

I will investigate that - thank you! At the moment, my knees are working OK, with enough Arthrotec and kinesio-tape, but this might definitely be in my future.

I'm also keeping an eye on this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23100123. Nothing is good enough yet, though some of them are getting closer to what I would require.

I would be worried that it would reduce muscle strength over the long haul

Ah knees, all the good ones are wasted on the young...

But an implantable shock absorber knee replacement...yikes...that sounds and looks painful.

I think I will continue taking my Glucosamine and Chondroitin...
