We bury our dead in the wake of our passage through the long dark nites
The brilliant days and in the silent introspection between the miles

We take ourselves to task in assortment and veregation
The verdure clasped to breast to lay at the mirror..
What was.

We cut and hack the binding vine....away and tread perilous grounds towards the idea
The orb
Gleaming and beckoned toward us

What is

Human that we are
We come to term
And birthed anew on the fore-steps below Santiagos Gaze we walk
Cleansed of the what cannot be
But clean we are

What we thought important..naught
All those perilous virtues broke away and dust
We find the patina of wisdom among us
Pilgrims walking out of the past

We find new attributes closer to the truth of who we really are

What you value is burned away Pilgrim
What is dross is fallen away
What really matters is that new idea, that indescribable... inside
You are empty for a reason
