Just a month ago I was dreaming and I made you dream of a paradise island in the ocean, gambling our lives on a Russian roulette, which turned out to be a game.
Today I’m dreaming again:
I dream of shaking hands with my friend Manu, and having a game of pool. With a cold beer on the corner terrace,
I dream of looking for my daughter and my granddaughter in my car, taking her from her cart in my arms and seeing her intense eyes.
I dream that my wife was waiting for me from work,to go out walking around the river, I dream of Fernando's WhatsApp inviting me to have a wine.
I dream of some Thursday eating at the corner table at the neighborhood restaurant with my wife.
I dream of making the Sunday rice, and being all together at home, my son, my daughter, my wife, my son-in-law and my granddaughter. Note the order of the factors does not alter the product, they are all number one for me.
The everyday, the simple, the mundane, slipped from our hands without realizing it, because of a small invisible virus that we do not know, and locked us between four walls.
Now a roll of toilet paper, a face mask, or good latex gloves is worth more than a rolex. Something is happening in our world; They are sending us a message from somewhere, but it is in a code that we have not yet deciphered.
In the worst moments a phrase always comes to my mind.
"This too shall pass". It is a huge storm, we are all inside it and it will be an indelible memory if we overcome it. When it happens unfortunately some will come out as if nothing had happened, others will try not to be the same person and learn a value to what it really has.
