Sorry. I explain this: MUS is a cards game played in Basque country, Navarra, C. Leon, Madrid and Aragón. If you see 4 Spanish pilgrims playing cards, almost sure that they play mus. It is more "intelectual" and funny than TUTE.The four men are playing TUTE . Galicia is not a MUS region.
Great to hear you're enjoying the last few stages. Are you thinking of going on to Fisterra or Muxia or both?It was a beautiful day today ,sunny but not too hot and a great athmosphere and camradee amongst the perigrinos.Today was busier, I would guess I saw 40 to 50 about 50 50 of spanish and european. I walked solo for first half of day and with a pilgrim from france for 2nd part. It was a long walk but beautiful too.I notice a lot more bars open now. Masks are worn on aporoach to towns or villages or hamlets. I enclose some pics.
Thank you.My fall 2020 camino has been postponed but I hope to complete my camino in 2021, starting from Astorga. I am really enjoying following your progress and seeing your pictures from Galicia. Buen Camino @roamingpaddy. Glad to see you're having good weather!
Thank you and for reminding me of that lovely prayer, yes I might as well go the whole hog now as I dont fly back till oct2nd. Did you go there what would you recommend?Great to hear you're enjoying the last few stages. Are you thinking of going on to Fisterra or Muxia or both?
"May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back", I'm sure you know the rest of that most wonderful Irish blessing
Thank you ,I am at Arzúa about 38 km from Santiago,I will definatly listen to it but not now as I would awake my fellow pilgrims and I dont think they would be happyI have lost track of where you are, but good to see you are still moving and even planning to go to the ends of the earth. Here is another delight to listen to as you approach Santiago:
They could also be playing Brisca. Or even Poker.Sorry. I explain this: MUS is a cards game played in Basque country, Navarra, C. Leon, Madrid and Aragón. If you see 4 Spanish pilgrims playing cards, almost sure that they play mus. It is more "intelectual" and funny than TUTE.
Nope. Brisca could be in Galicia but the players have more than 3 cards each, so is Tute. The one on the right has the horse and the king of bastos, so he can score 20 or 40 points. They could also be playing Brisca. Or even Poker.
You are still young Tinca, but they are notThey drink water? Tried it once; didn’t like it
Yes. I think it was Tute.About this time last year I was in Molinaseca on a Sunday and managed to find a bar with the F1 Grand Prix on the TV. There were 4 locals playing a card game with cards I did not recognise and which involved a lot of slamming the cards on the table. Was this Tute ??
