Time of past OR future Camino
ASAP
Arriving in Santiago late afternoon on September 7th, 2 women I work with asked me the easiest way to get to Sarria, should they travel on that day or the next morning.
Looking at bus and train sites they don't have scedhules out yet.
But they want to book pensiones ahead, as it's their first Camino.
Can someone advise please as to how regular buses, trains are?
Thanks in advance

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Where are you looking because LOCO2 is showing this:

The price should be about €11,-....
The LOCO2 site was quoting for two passengers. The lowest I could find on the RENFE website was the 18:07 train at €33,40 for two but that doesn't get into Sarria until 22:01hrs. Is the €11 a special deal?

My wife took the bus from Santiago to Lugo about a week ago... think she got a ticket from the driver and payed 11 something.

Ah, I misunderstood - I thought it was the train you were referring to! Mia culpa!
I shall bow out and leave it to those who know!

Get to the Santiago train station and you can go by train. I just went 4 days ago Santiago to Ourense then Ourense to Sarria. Very simple.
