Time of past OR future Camino
Camino Frances 2013
Doing my first Camino in early September. I'm flying into Toulouse via Paris to visit the bones of St. Thomas Aquinas. Thinking of visiting Lourdes after Toulouse then onto St. Jean.

Is there rail or bus service between Toulouse and Lourdes? And, is there rail or bus service between Lourdes and St. Jean?

Thanks.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

flmike,

There is no bus service. There are several trains a day from Toulouse Matabiau rr station to Lourdes. Price is 28 euros. Trip takes about 2 hours. Similarly there are several trains a day from Lourdes to Bayonne with a change in Dax. Cost is roughly 20 euros depending on time of day. From Bayonne several TER line 62 trains connect to SJPdP. Cost is roughly 10 euros. See this French SNCF web site for all information. >> http://www.voyages-sncf.com.

Final timetables for all French trains are only published 3 months in advance.

Bon voyage and Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith
