Hi...it's me again...excellent wisdom on the cheating topic...thank you. So has anyone ever slept in the Madrid airport...sounds terrible doesn't it? Well it may save me a hundred dollars ( ok, ok,.....I'm a yank )But I get in late 10 pm....and leave again early 8 am...hotels in the area are around 100...so any advice...? Next...from Santiago...are flights hard and/or expensive to get at the last moment. Right now it's about 170 to fly from Santiago to Madrid...has anyone any experience in this. Once again, thanx a million.

I am sure you can get an airplane ticket at very reasonable price. I flew twice on the 06:30 Air Europa (Santiago to Madrid) for less than 65$ CDN. I purchased the tickets back home. The flights were never full.

Good luck. Last year I had to wait 6 hours for a connecting flight at Barajas... painful to say the least. If you can avoid it do not sleep there.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
