Travelling from Santander to Leon

I plan to arrive in Santander on Sunday 16th June I hope to travel directly on to Leon. I would welcome guidance/help on best and direct way to travel to leon..... By train or bus? As it is a sunday are there regular trains / buses that day? How long does the journey take? Thanks in anticipation
