Gypsy:

I walked by Tres Cantos. That said, looking at google maps you go west on Ronda de Europa from the station, cross the highway, m607, and head north west to Colmenar Viejo.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
By the way, it is not evident on the map but you walk UNDER a little tunnel (under the train tracks) and then OVER a bridge (over the highway).
I should have done the trail in camino blue and not camino yellow!

The Via Pecuaria is a cattle way (sheep).
I recently did a route with my mountain group. Starting at this point and following the Via (West) to reach El Pardo wall and Marmota bridge over Manzanares river.
Here we went up the river towards Colmenar.
The river forms here a very nice canyon.
21 kms in total .
