I submitted my request for a French QR code on 29/8/21 at first I followed the advice to use the email request on completing this I received a reply saying that the QR Code was now available via an online application (sorry I don’t have the link) today I received my QR code via email this should help with anyone transiting via France as I believe it may be requested for trains etc the whole thing was a very simple process and when issued can be downloaded on your smart phone.
