From time to time the Sanish Fiesta's e-news has some useful info and I thought I would share this month's with you.:

Spain is the 2nd most visited nation on the planet with more than 50 million annual visitors. Only France receives more. Of the 41 Spanish airports Madrid's Barajas airport is the busiest with over
40 million annual passengers making it the world's 12th most popular airport.

We've set up a page on our website listing all the main airlines offering services from the UK and Ireland to airports in Spain.

http://www.spanish-fiestas.com/spain-tr ... lights.htm

On this page you'll see links to individual destinations such as "Flights to Malaga, Flights to Mallorca, etc." We do try our best to keep on top of this information but this is no easy task with
airlines coming and going, flight frequencies and destinations varying according to season, etc. So if you see any errors or omissions please let us know so I can correct them.

Flights from the USA to Spain

Iberia, Spain's national airline, offers the widest choice of flight routes between the USA and Spain. There are daily direct flights from New York and Miami to Madrid with connecting flights
to the various other airports throughout Spain including Barcelona, Malaga, Sevilla, Granada, Valencia, Bilbao, La Coruna and Palma de Mallorca.

Delta Airlines also offers daily flights from New York, Chicago and Los Angeles to Madrid with stopovers in either New York or a European city. Other airlines also serving Spain include American,
United, Continental and US Airways.

If you cannot get a direct scheduled flight then look for a European carrier and arrange a stopover in another country. The most common of such flights are British Airways via London, Air
France via Paris and Lufthansa via Frankfurt.
