After finishing my first camino in May 2010 using the Via de la Plata route starting from Sevilla I decided to share my experiences and a few tips tips on my blog. Some people have found these quite useful so I would like to share them with you as well.

Via de la Plata FAQs - Camino de Compostela: What to bring and more tips: http://path2yoga.blogspot.com/2010/07/via-de-la-plata-faqs.html

And if you want to read a bit more about my personal experience doing the camino you can read these two blog posts:

Unless I missed it, and if you don't mind, there is an omission in your tips. It is the absolute need to have a credencial if you wish to use refugios.

I apologise in advance if I failed to spot your reference to this.

Thanks Caminando, much appreciated your feedback. How could I have missed that one! I'll take a look at it again and try to update it as soon as I can.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Thanks Marco - your tips are comprehensive and well done, so a new pilg might not realise the necessity for the cred.

Marco, thanks for the wonderful report on the Via de la Plata. I´m planning to do this route next year somewhere around middle of May. Keep up with your work.
