Hello. I will be walking the via de la Plata starting at the end of April this year. I did the Camino Frances in parts before my final year of studies, in between jobs and on a holiday. I told my colleagues about what I like to do and somehow my manager allowed me to go for a 6 weeks holiday. I have met many people while walking the Camino Frances, many walked it in one go, but some walked it in parts, too. After I did the last one, which was only 7 days to fill in between Burgos and Leon, I was dissapointed that I could not get into the rythm of the way.
I am looking forward to this long walk. It is special as you can step out of the daily life and routines, having to do this and be there on time.
Best Regards.
