Time of past OR future Camino
Via de Plata
I will be arriving in Seville on Sept 23 and starting my Camino on the 24th. I am very excited and a little bit nervous. I am coming from northern California. I do have some questions so I am looking forward to hearing from others who may be on the route or who have done it in the past.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
What are your questions?

I will be starting from Seville on the 24th or 25th of Sept.

I would like to be fairly self contained. Is is feasible to sleep out on the route.? How available is potable water? Is camping gas (the kind in canisters ) readily available in Spain.?

I will be making a reservation at Traina Backpackers Hostel. Is this a good place to start and obtain my pilgrim credential.?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I know nothing about camping on the VdlP. I guess it would be possible but not sure if it is welcomed by the local authorities. I expect you could buy the gas in a fereteria, which you will find in some towns.

There are not many fountains on the route, but you can ask for a refill in bars that you use.

Hopefully someone else can give you a more helpful answer.
Buen camino!
