Visa and Airport Question

I am wondering about visa in Spain and France..I am from the US...I will be flying from India...the !st of June not sure the cheapest city to fly into ..Madrid or some where closer and how to get to SJPP...

U.S. citizens can visit Schengen countries, which includes much of Europe, for 90 days each 180 days without a visa. For a visit longer than 90, days you need a visa from a Schengen country for a long term stay. After you have that visa, you can visit other Schengen countries without restriction.
