Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Check the almanac section of any weather site, and the weather will be the same but on different days!

September will still be warm with cool mornings at the higher elevations. There will be occasional rain, but it is not a particularly rainy month. Mostly intermittent showers unless you get unlucky. Most of the rain will be in Galicia.

Take layers of clothes so that you can add or remove as necessary to get the temperature you want.

Buen camino!

Your guess is as good as the next guy's - there's no way to predict the weather these days.

As Falcon says, plan on layering and you'll be fine.

For Fall or Spring I take the same clothes:

1 short sleeved top
1 long sleeved top
1 microfleece
1 longjohn wool or bamboo top

1 macabi skirt
1 longjohn bottoms

And I top it off with my ALTUS poncho, which serves as a blanket or windbreaker also.

I walked last September and I think it was warmer than usual. I still wore long sleeved top and long trousers because then I don't have to worry about about sunburn or scrapes or bites. Many others wore Tee shirts and shorts or zip offs. I think it depends on what weather and conditions you're used to, we come from all over the world, after all. Most people had a warm top and waterproofs, but not everyone.

Falcon269, love the calendar…...

We walked the Camino twice in Sept and the weather couldn't have been any better. The Mountains can be cool but we had only 2 days of light rain. You will need light rain gear with some layers. Great time of year to go !!

I walked last year and struck two or three days of drizzle, then later three days of non-stop torrential rain, so I definitely suggest rain gear. Later in the month the evenings were sometimes cold, and I was quite envied for my light puffer jacket. During the day, Tshirts and long pants worked for me.
