walking with children MARCH or SEPTEMBER

I'm going to be walking the Camino in 2011. Just now starting to research...I will be walking with atleast three of my five children.

They will be 12, 10, 8 (6 and 4).

Would you suggest march or september?

Thank you advance!

I would imagine September would be more practical. In March you might encounter some cold, wet and muddy conditions at times, and would need to carry more gear for this. Also, not all the seasonal albergues would have re-opened in March, so some of the longer distances between albergues might be quite hard for children. Early September was quite busy this year, but would usually be warmer and more pleasant climate-wise.
