Tsk, tsk @falcon269, the question was asked in the Camino Portugues thread, and you are sending him the climate data for Leon! The data for Porto is here. The weather will be quite decent, the same as last year, but on different days!

@Diogo92, I cannot speak directly for @falcon269, but I suspect he has a similar view to me - asking for a weather forecast for many, or even just several, months time is rather pointless. While that might be a strict interpretation of many requests, I think it is a colloquial way of asking about the climatic conditions for a place rather than a weather forecast, and I suspect why @falcon269 provided a link to climate data, as do I normally in response to questions of this nature. It depends from the years. September could be hot, or it could be wet. It's mead season so you will never know really, but the data that @dougfitz shared could give you a bigger picture of what to expect,

BTW, I do like the suggestion that in mead season, you could reach the point of never knowing what the weather is like, although how one would walk in that condition is not quite clear to me.
I always recall a good piece of advice to travellers I heard many years ago - pack for the climate, then dress for the weather.
Regards,
Change of plans. My travel companion can go in Sept. Anyone know what to expect weather wise.
The records indicate that the September 2013 average was a couple of degrees above the average for a Santiago September, at just over 24degC. The highest maximum was 33degC, with only five other days over 29degC, the temperature some sources classify as 'hot'. The lowest maximum was 17degC, and the lowest minimum was 5degC.this past september has been very hot in santiago de compostela with temperature in the 30-35 degree centigrade. the first rain of the season only arrived at the last couple of days in september.
Like you I am planning on walking from Porto in the Fall. Noting August is drier does anyone know what makes up the local calendar i.e. when do schools start or Summer season end. I would like to travel as soon as possible with less crowds at the beach. Thank you..... Willy
