Time of past OR future Camino
July 2022
My first Camino starts on July 4th from SJPdP. I am arriving in Paris on the 2nd. Seeing that I do not need a covid test to return to the US, I want to make sure of my needs for my arrival in Paris.

I am fully vaccinated with both booster shots. I think all I need is a dPLF form and my vaccinations records to enter France. I will spend 3 nights in France (counting the one night in Orisson).

I assume I still need to find a pharmacy and present my vaccination records for my QR code.

Am I missing something?

Jim, we were in France for most of April and May. Most requirements had already been lifted. We did not need to obtain a QR code in France.

But we did keep our vacccination documents with us at all times. They were required in any case for boarding our flights to and from France.

That was what I understood when I was reading about the requirements. It is great to hear from someone that has experienced what I am about to do.

Thanks so much for the info!!

You do not need anything. All the Covid restrictions agave been lifted. No masks and not even vaccine records were require when we flew in last week.

Thanks a bunch got the info!! Good to know
I have read in very rare instances some albergues still ask for your vaccination records. Last November and December some Xuntas were asking for them but in Covid times that was an eternity ago.
Probably better to carry some proof of your vaccination records just in case things change as you walk.

Good idea. I took a pic and storing on my phone, too, just in case I lose my vaccination card. Thanks!

You can also download free apps that store and verify your vaccination info and create a qr code too.

But not all QR codes are readable by all apps. Back when the QR code was needed to ride public transport and enter certain places it the QR code had to meet certain EU standards. The QR code generated by my health care provider in the US didn't qualify.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
That is good information as I never had to use my VaxYes qr code on my app. I just had to show the card.
