where to pamper myself at end of camino

I plan to do my first Camino beginning in sjpdp late august and finish in finisterre/muxia in early October--probably about 7 weeks total including some extra overnighters along the way.

I would like to go to a beach city and just relax on beach and find a nice spa. Am considering San Sebastian, I hear they have a wonderful spa (saw a clip on it on a recent rick Steves TV travel show).
Any suggestions for hotels there—would be nice to have one overlooking the ocean if possible (without spending a gazillion $$$). Other beach city suggestions where weather might still be warm enough to sit on beach?

I am not sure about spa's, but between Muros and Carnota there are some really nice beaches, especially the small stretch at San Franscisco. Though I liked this place because it was less touristy and less developed, there were some bigger hotels near San Fransciso. Maybe you can find something up there?

It isn't too far from Santiago or Finisterre (by car, I do not know about public transport). It's too far from Muxia though. Perhaps you can opt for something in or near A Coruna. There is good coastal scenery and there are bound to be busses in that direction.

In October - I would travel to the Mediterranean coast, hopefully in order to avoid rain and perhaps it will be warmer. Small villages (Blanes, Tossa de Mar, Sitges) around Barcelona. There are many nice beaches in the city of Barcelona, too. Or continue further down in Southern Spain.

Did you know those beaches @ Barcelona are man-made, yep after ever Winter they bring back new sand to make the beaches again , Barcelona is lovely esp. if you like Gaudi & can get up early & miss the crowds so you get the place to yourself(nearly), we found a lovely place selling all sorts of lovely pizza, very late @ night sitting outside in the heat a week before xmas with loads of others queuing for tables too
