Maybe I'am out of line here but I will ask anyway,

Why not donate to this wonderful Camino forum so they can stay on doing the good work they are doing.

Ivar does a terrific job - we’re happy contributors!

Just like we always stop and buy something from the cafes and pop up vendors while walking the Camino. It’s part of giving back to an amazing country...

IF YOU CAN, donating to the forum is as easy, here is a quick reference guide on how to do it.

Go to the attached link:

1. On the right side of the screen you will see "Camino Forum Donation"

(a) Select your donation level [anything can help].
(b) Click on add to cart.
(c) On top right of the screen you will see My Cart & Check Out.
(d) Click on check out - Note, at this step you will see the donation, (i.e. 10.00), Qty (i.e. 1), Total (i.e. 10.00), in this example you can increase the amount from 10.00 to 20.00 or 30.00 by changing the number in the Qty box, then click the UPDATE and you will see the new Total.
(e) Follow the instructions to donate using your credit card.
(f) Thanks for donating !!!

2. If you are still having issues with the donation please send a PM to Ivar.

No.

I joined in 2008, but only began posting with regularity this last year or so. This forum has become a lifeline. Right now plate is nearly overwhelmingly full. So, I come here for the rest and relaxation I'd find on camino if I could get away.

This forum is like PBS in the states. You give a little, but receive so much more. As such, I will look into becoming a donating member.

Thank you for the reminder. Time to pay for a few more months. Now that my mom has passed actually walking the Camino is a real possibility instead of when...I have valued the suggestions, witty banter, lovely stories shared here. Time to pay up!

Thanks for the link. I decided to donate, and then for the life of me couldn't find where to do it until I saw your post! (Of course, now I notice all the banners AFTER I used your link. I guess I'd just tuned them out as visual white noise.)

My bank warned me about possible international fraud with certain creditcards. So better be safe than sorry and we blocked it. Now some days waiting for a new one.
Not that big a problem BUT... it was just the time to renew my donation.
All these adds are driving me bonkers so this is an extra incentive ( besides the donation itself ) to donate here.
