Following the partial renovation of the municipal shelter at No. 55 Rue de la Citadelle the City Hall decided to undertake during the last winter an 8 bed dorm summary was installed in the Great Hall of the Home at No. 39 in the same street. Our Association has decided to propose to the ancient pilgrims volunteers to ensure the home throughout the winter, which can be presented in this paper an overview of the St James attendance during this period when, according to the weather, welcoming the pilgrims they are urged to take the path of Valcarlos rather that the traditional route Napoleon because there is often snow, fog and therefore dangerous.
The period used for this study is that of winter in the strict sense of timing, we chose an arbitrary and continuous period during which the weekly attendance has been over 100 pilgrims, 2 November 2009 February 28, 2010, ie for nearly four months.
During this period, it is 713 pilgrims who were received, representing a daily average of 6 per day. However, the graph of weekly attendance below, more explicit, showing that in December, and January 1 to half of February, or during 11 weeks, there were between 19 to 34 pilgrims per week., averaging less than 4 per / day
