Can anyone advise me how to get to the beach from SJPDP?

I may have 2 full days there prior to starting the Camino and would love a beach day! Or any other suggestions for spending time in SJPDP?

I will fly into Biarritz on a Saturday and start walking on Tuesday. I'd like to go to the market in SJPDP on Monday and also happy to miss the popular Monday bubble of pilgrims leaving SJPDP!

Edited to add - For reasons I won't go into, I am aiming to go from Biarritz to SJPDP on the Saturday and happy to travel again to Biarritz on the Sunday. An extra return train/bus journey doesn't bother me.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Simple. Stay in Biarritz, which has gorgeous beaches, and was the first place that saw surfing in Europe.

Then get a train to Bayonne and another one to SJPDP.
