Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

If you forget to make a reservation or have a phobia about taxis (like you might be kidnapped and hauled off to some town in France by the cabbie) you can walk out to the main road, cross it and then walk to the nearest bus stop. You can choose either direction but heading right (to Noáin) looks like the more interesting walk.

Many years ago I walked south from the airport via PA 31 to Noáin and then west cross country to Zariquiequi and eventually the Alto de Perdon.

Another year I walked southeast from the airport to Tiebas to join the Camino Aragones. After Tiebas walking west on the CA parallel route NA-601 to the splendid circular Romanesque church at Eunate where the albergue is now unfortunately closed and then 4k further to Puente la Reina/Gares to meet the Camino Frances.

Happy exploring and Carpe diem.

Wait, are you saying the taxi is only .7 euros for the trip?
I'm not the OP but about two years ago I noticed that the Pamplona street bus company (infotuc.es) that had operated a special line between the airport and the bus and train stations dropped the airport but had the subsidized taxi operate at the bus price. There was service to the airport also but only from one location near the bus station, but not at it. You had to call ahead for either way. This year I tried to find the service mentioned at the infotuc.es website for a post but I failed to find it again. I guess they still have the service though.

From Noian it is still a lengthy walk & I had extra bag & backpack
