Hi All,

Hy , on the Camino you probely be no day solo. You are only solo when you want to be on your one.I wish you a Buen Camino, Peter.

I am interested to see how I do on this. I will have to carry a bit of extra weight with a tent and a bit more gear as I am going to do Hadrian's Wall (England - 7 days) after, then West Highland Way (Scotland - 7 days), then the Westweg Schwarzwald (Germany - 13 Days).

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-

Welcome Rometimed, you could always post your extra gear ahead to Ivars parcel storage in Santiago, this should lighten your load a bit and your back and legs will thank you for every gram saved.

Interesting idea, remember though I am quite young at 31 and hike an hour and a half every other day in mountains. The physical part I think i'll be fine with, even with a couple lbs extra weight. The thing that's challenging on the Camino to me is the being away from my regular routine and the interesting aspect is all the others on their own adventures.

I know some have done the Camino there and back on routes... has anyone one back to back different routes?

I might try to do the French route, then a couple months later swing back and do the Silver Route from Grenada.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
UPDATE! :D

I got my forum badge, I got my guide book... just booked all my flights for this odyssey.

Moved somethings around...

Will be starting Camino from SJPDP on the 16th of May and planning about 37 days.

After the Camino will be then doing:

1. Hadrian's Wall (England)
2. West Highland Way (Scotland)
3. Westweg Schwarzwald (Germany)
4. Coast to Coast (England)
5. Lycian Way (Turkey)
6. Camino de Santiago, English way

:)

Update! :)

I head off to Paris tomorrow and am driving around Northern France for 10 days checking out Normandy and then over to Belgium and the Somme region.

Will train down to Saint Jean Pied de Port on May 15th, booked into Orisson for the 16th.

Have left 37 days to finish the Camino, maybe head over to Muxia then get down to Porto.

I was going to make a video on what I was packing but a few things I wasn't sure on until even today (cut out 3 lbs today).

Will have to do a video late this year when i'm back from all these walks.

Will try to do a semi daily update too around here.

Cheers all! Buen Camino!
